Sixty to seventy percent of all diseases can be cured or prevented with water.

Another declaration that the Taoist Priest made that, at the time, sounded absurd to me.  I listened to what he had to say but in my mind I doubted the veracity of such a declaration.  Initially, I thought he was speaking only of water consumption but soon realized he was talking about the use of hydrotherapy as well.  Many years later I discovered, not only that he had disclosed a great truth, but also the many ways that hydrogen peroxide could also be used effectively to facilitate healing or the prevention of disease.

The first living things were water plants, and the origins of animal life lived in water. In the beginning our earth was lifeless until the water came. Today we are still water animals, forced to have access to water, or perish.  The origin of water is as open to scientific speculation as is the origin of the earth itself. What we do know is that water covers approximately three-fourths of the earth's surface and ninety-seven percent of it is in the oceans. Continue reading Water

The Art of Bathing

The bathtub is a simple, wonderful invention that many of us take for granted. Since the beginning, bathing in water has been essential to one’s good health and peace of mind. It is not only for an occasional Saturday night indulgence, or exclusively for the kids and their toy boats; the bathtub is perfect for do-it-yourself-at-home stress reduction and natural healing. Many cultures of the past throughout the  world have adopted similar attitudes towards water, recognizing the health and spiritual benefits of bathing, using it to clean, to socialize and to heal. Sadly, like the many natural holistic discoveries buried by the sands of time and superseded by modern science, medicine and technology, it is a lost tradition that our modern fast-paced lives has sacrificed. The Epsom Salt Bath

According to the National Academy of Sciences the majority of people living in America today are magnesium deficient; this is related to fast food living as well as modern farming methods. The Academy believes this to be the reason for such high incidences of stress related illnesses, digestion problems, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue and heart disease and strokes. Water Consumption

There's much concern about what to eat or not eat but water, an absolutely fundamental substance for bodily function and well-being, is grossly overlooked. And then there's confusion about what is the best water to drink; many believe that any liquid qualifies as hydration.

The excuses for not drinking water vary. “I’m not thirsty.” “I’ll just have to go to the bathroom if I drink all of that water.” “Water doesn’t do anything for me; I will just grab a coke.”

The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) and for women 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day. Some nutritionists actually advise that just because the average person needs about two liters of water a day, to replace what is lost through normal biological functions, does not mean that they need to drink two liters of water a day. In fact, you do not have to drink any water at all because you can easily get a liter or liter and a half of water just from the food that you eat, especially if you eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

Meanwhile, books and medical-journal articles have declared there's no scientific evidence for claims that "8 x 8" -- eight ounces of water, eight times a day -- can bring a wide range of benefits, from speeding weight loss to ridding the body of toxins, fighting constipation, fatigue, dry skin and hastening recovery from colds and flu. Headlines have jeered that 8 x 8 "doesn't hold water" and "water advice doesn't wash", according to the Wall Street Journal.

So what is it? All this information and misinformation about the benefits and the consequences on health of not drinking enough water, its hard to know what is correct. Let us take a hard look at the facts. Continue reading Water Consumption

Alkaline Minerals

Calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, zinc, nickel and manganese help make your body more alkaline and remove toxic acid wastes from your body.

Minerals are essential for the basic functions of the human body to take place. They help to control bone growth, regulate fluids, normalize nerve and muscle functions, keep up metabolism, grow connective tissues, and so much more.

However, a big misconception is that that we obtain enough minerals from our drinking water. This is actually not true because in reality, the main source of minerals is always from our food and diet, not from our drinking water. In order to receive enough minerals for our bodies, we would need to drink a full bathtub amount of water everyday, which is not very feasible. We are sure that your doctor will not prescribe you a "bathtub of water" if you are deficient in minerals, right? Continue reading Alkaline Minerals

Hydrogen Peroxide

With the burning of fossil fuels and the reduction of our rain forests, the oxygen levels in our atmosphere today are depleted and no longer provide adequate amounts of pure oxygen.  Whether we know it or not, because of our modern lives and our modern environment, our bodies are constantly crying for oxygen.  Hypoxia is a condition whereby the tissues and cells receive less than adequate oxygenation; it predisposes one to a number of degenerative illnesses including circulatory problems, digestive disorders and even cancer.  Over a lifetime oxygen deprivation, combined with the toxic stress, emotional stress, physical trauma and infections, which further deplete our body's oxygen resources, can lead to the development of other diseases. We may literally be suffocating ourselves.  If we are to achieve vibrant health, it is absolutely necessary to supplement our diets with oxygen products.

The One Minute Cure

Making a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide Solution

There are times when it would be convenient for you to keep a 3% strength food-grade hydrogen peroxide on hand because at this strength, it has many uses that produce countless benefits (in addition to the benefits that are derived from the dosing regimen described earlier). This should not be confused with the 3% hydrogen peroxide that you can find at your local drugstore because that pharmaceutical grade is for external use only and should not be ingested.

In order to make a 3% solution that can be ingested, you must start with 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and dilute it according to the way it will be used. To start, pour one ounce of 35% food-grade hydrogen peroxide into a pint jar, and add 11 ounces of distilled water. This will yield 12 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Make sure you label it “3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide” to distinguish it from the 35% strength. You can use this diluted solution in a variety of ways, and you may find it convenient to store the unused portion in the refrigerator. If you wish to ingest hydrogen peroxide, you will need to dilute the solution further. However, absorbing 3% hydrogen peroxide through the mucous membranes, the lungs, and the skin produces many remarkable health benefits.
